Aromatherapy

Imagine inhaling the fragrance of a rose in full bloom on a warm summer day and consider how the scent brings about a shift in your state of mind. Essential oils contain massive concentrations of powerful plant chemicals which stimulate the subconscious with their scents. They bring feelings of alertness, happiness, calm, relaxation or sleepiness.

Aromatherapy not only has a positive effect on the psyche and spirit by working in concert with the limbic system it can also aid in physical healing when minuscule essential oil molecules are absorbed into the bloodstream via the lungs when inhaled.

I would like to caveat the above by stating that I am not a chemist and have no expertise beyond a serious interest in essential oils. My information and opinions are garnered from my own research and I recommend you carry out your own research if you are unsure about anything. If you are pregnant, we advise you seek medical advice before using our products.

Some essential oils are not suitable for use around young children and pets. Please remember essential oil therapy should not be considered as a cure for any health conditions, and it is not our intention at Wild Home to offer any professional medical advice or treatment for any condition. Aromatherapy benefits are based on scientific research, exploring the natural uses and benefits of essential oils on the human body. Remember everyone is different and may or may not be affected by aromatherapy in the same way.
